PRESIDENT'S UPDATES

As Liberty Electronics enters the new year, we are reminded to reflect, with gratitude and humility on the people, partnerships, and events that made 2018 a success. The holidays especially provide such tangible moments, as well as offering the chance to give to others during our Christmas party and in support of local outreach programs. For 2019, Liberty is strongly positioned for continued success as we work towards the goals in front of us. We are excited to see the planned expansion of our Reno facility moving forward. Additionally, we have recognized new opportunities in other sectors such as commercial-industrial and intend to focus efforts in developing those opportunities further. It is our ultimate intent, though, that our success translates into success for others. Happy New Year! - John L. Dumot

Christmas Celebration Recap

Liberty Christmas SweatersLiberty employees took time out for food, fun, and fellowship at our annual Christmas celebration this past month. Everyone treated themselves to an array of food and homemade holiday treats that left them walking away full. Some participated in a number of holiday-themed contests such as constructing the best gingerbread house. Others showed their spirit through their sweater choices. And of course, presents were given to many. All in all it was a happy time thanks to the many people who helped organize it and get it ready.

Teacher in the Workplace Program

Educator in the Workplace Programs PA Liberty ElectronicsLiberty Electronics is excited to be participating in the state's Educator in the Workplace Programs. The program, announce by the state in March of 2018, has made $1 million available for Teacher in the Workplace grants meant to connect classrooms and businesses to help schools prepare students for the changing 21st century economy. Liberty, like many manufactures, recognized the need for youth to join our industry and we see this as a great chance to demonstrate the array of opportunities that exist in this field.

Join Our Manufacturing Rep Network

Liberty Electronics understands the vLiberty-Contract-Manufacturer-Rep-Programalue of partnerships. We believe the best partnerships are built on communication, dependability, and respect. These same fundamental qualities that bring us a high amount of repeat business, are also key to the strong relationships we have with our select network of manufacturing representatives. In our minds, success only comes when both parties see wins. This is why Liberty offers a structured program to help our manufacturing reps get those wins. Read more about the program here.

Through the use of additive manufacturing to provide worker accommodations, Liberty has solved several common problems relating to accommodations and disabilities in the workplace. The results have been exceptional and the company sets itself apart from its competitors with its innovative approach.

Molding and Insulation for Performance

Molding and insulation are both vital steps in protecting wire assemblies from wear and tear, allowing for a longer lasting and higher quality product. Cast molding, overmolding, and press molding are all techniques to protect the connections of a cable assembly, ensuring quality and extended use. These techniques all achieve slightly different results, but still meet the ultimate objective: protect components, create dimensional parameters, and give longevity to the product. A variety of materials are used to ensure this.
